Our Philosophy ~ "Compassionate Care; Consistently High Standards"

The health of an individual is multi-dimensional and encompasses the body, mind, and spirit. We strive to treat the whole person, not just the illness. We believe the best approach to optimize your care is to incorporate holistic lifestyle changes with medication management ~ greater wellness; fewer medications.

Our practice reaches beyond the office ~ to the hospital, senior living facilities and rehabilitation centers. We provide comprehensive care, wherever our patients call home. Our practice is open and non-judgmental. We consider it a privilege to be part of your medical care.

Our Focus ~ "Excellence in Medical Care at Home or Hospital"

Sheila Sagar, M.D. is a Primary Care Practice, with 2 Board Certified Providers in:

  • Internal Medicine
  • Geriatrics Medicine
  • Adult and Women's Health

Our providers have advanced training in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, along with over 30 years of combined experience in Primary Care Office, Hospital, Rehab, Long Term Care and Hospice Settings. We are centrally located for the Palm Harbor, Dunedin, Countryside, Tarpon Springs and East Lake communities.

Your health care begins with us as a young adult and continues through middle age and senior years.

Our Standard of Care ~

  • Our office is staffed with Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants.
  • You will be greeted by our friendly staff in a warm atmosphere.
  • Your initial assessment will be completed by a Medical Assistant or Nurse.
  • We will review, in detail, your medical conditions and medications.
  • Dr. Sheila Sagar or Melissa Schultz, ARNP, will perform a comprehensive examination.
  • Your Medical Information will be entered in an "EMR", Electronic Medical System.
  • Recommendations to improve your care are guided by up-to-date medical research.
